McKinnon (groin) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after being activated from injured reserve Saturday, but he's expected to play in Super Bowl LVIII, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
A scatback-type rusher who packs a deceptively large payload and a wealth of football know-how in a small package, he brings big-play potential to every snap and piles up yardage as a dual rushing/receiving threat. Can power through the line or make defenders miss on option routes. Is a complete and versatile athlete with experience at multiple positions; he played quarterback in high school and college, while also returning kicks and subbing as a defensive back. Is not ideally suited to lead-back duties because he can be a bit too injury-prone. Is already dealing with knee issues.
Long Range Potential: Dynamic, multi-purpose running back, when healthy.
