Watson (shoulder) is throwing passes in 7-on-7 drills Tuesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Coach Kevin Stefanski noted Wednesday that Watson is throwing every other day as the QB continues his rehab from a season-ending shoulder injury, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN reports.
A top-tier athlete at quarterback, with excellent clutch ability. Proven as a winner in big games, and shows confidence and focus when it matters most. Regularly makes plays with his feet, thanks to superb speed and elusiveness. Uses those same qualities to avoid sacks impressively. Shows solid all-round potential. Gets pickoff-prone: too often throws across his body or off his back foot, and will rush decisions and pass attempts rather than letting things unfold ideally and maximizing timing. Needs significant work on key elements as a passer, especially his footwork, passing mechanics, and decision-making.
Long Range Potential: Super-athletic, clutch quarterback prospect with raw star tools.
