Poised in the pocket, he possesses mastery of the position with good footwork and a sound release. Was a high-volume passer in college. Is deliberate in his reads and is also highly competitive. Hates to give up on a play and can buy time by scrambling and making throws on the run. Exudes self-confidence and projects strong leadership qualities. Went undrafted due to a lack of optimal size and arm strength; he was widely dismissed as a pro prospect. Must avoid a tendency to force plays, thus creating turnovers or a loss of good field position.
