Bear is expected to be out for at least a few weeks due to his undisclosed injury, per PuckPedia on Saturday.
Scouting Report
The young, mobile defenseman can move the puck effectively and play major minutes, as well as block shots and kill penalties. Small for a defenseman (5'11"), he still has to prove he can win one-on-one battles against opposing forwards on a consistent basis. He was an offensive force in junior hockey but has yet to show that kind of prowess in the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Mobile, two-way defenseman.
