Taylor rushed 32 times for 244 yards and three touchdowns while bringing in all three targets for 42 yards in the Colts' 31-25 overtime win against the Falcons on Sunday in Berlin.
Taylor rushed the ball 14 times for 45 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Steelers. He added two receptions on two targets for 12 yards.
His ferocious college workload recalls the legendary power backs of the past, something seldom seen in the modern NFL game. The former high school track star smashed through the Big Ten leaving a trail of broken records, including consecutive 2,000-yard seasons and 50 rushing touchdowns in three years. Combines sprinter speed with endurance, vision and instincts as a turf-eating terror. Has the open-field burst to produce chunk plays. Must step up his receiving skills and reduce his fumble rate at the next level. His career arc in the professional ranks may be shorter than average.
Long Range Potential: Explosive, thoroughbred running back with some upside.
