Bryant caught one of two targets for two yards in Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Broncos in Week 9.
Bryant is expected to be the backup tight end in Sunday's game against the Broncos as starter Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) logged a full practice Friday, Sam Warren of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Big, fast and fierce, he capped his college career as the premier pass-catching tight end in the nation and the winner of the John Mackey Award. Was highly productive as a primary receiver, albeit for a small conference school. Can be split out into space to leverage his above-average speed and separation skills. Agile and disciplined in his routes, he can work deep into the secondary and improvise on the fly. Is nasty and competitive as a run and pass blocker. Must prove he can make adjustments at the next level to become a three-down player in the NFL.
Long Range Potential: Productive, pass-catching tight end with upside.
