Taylor re-signed with the Bengals on a one-year contract in March of 2023, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Taylor had his busiest day of the year Sunday, tallying 99 all-purpose yards. He had two catches for 14 yards, three carries for 18 yards, 52 yards in punt returns and 15 more yards on a kick return.
The speedy, sub-6-footer occupies a tenuous niche as a short-range possession receiver and outlet option. Creative in finding routes to open space, he is also adept at reading coverages. Protects the ball well with his body and is a tough runner after the catch. His prolific college career was highlighted by a stupendous senior year in which he led the nation in receiving yardage and was second in total receptions. Presents a small target and catch radius; he must offset his size deficit with strength gains and advanced football intellect.
Long Range Potential: Backup wide receiver and punt returner.
