The Blue Jackets have designated Foudy a non-roster player and placed him on waivers Friday and will assign him to AHL Cleveland should no team claim him, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Foudy scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Flyers in overtime.
An exceptional athlete, he skates like the wind and can wreak havoc on opponents because of his wheels. Displays plenty of offensive potential, a projectable frame and some two-way ability. Is still a bit raw as a prospect, so he may need a little more time than usual in order to fully hone his tools. In order to do so, he will need to fill out his lanky frame and get physically stronger for the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Speedy, athletic forward with upside.
