DeAngelo dished out two power-play assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.
DeAngelo (illness) is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, according to Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.
His terrific offensive skills are negated somewhat by defensive deficiencies and a lack of size. He has also been slowed by a lack of maturity on and off the ice. But all the tools are there: he is a smooth skater who moves the puck quickly and has a good shot. He can quarterback a power play. Has a chance to be an elite offensive defenseman if he improves in his own zone and matures as he moves through his prime.
