Kampf (upper body) has been cleared to play but will be a healthy scratch Sunday versus Ottawa, according to Mark Masters of TSN.
Scouting Report
Has the kind of defensive ability from the center position that breeds trust in coaches. Is usable in all situations and is a competent penalty killer. Has the size NHL teams like (6”2”), but he could stand to fill out a bit and get stronger. He does not have a lot of offensive skills but can complement players who do.
