Scouting Report
Coaches love his work ethic, his skating ability and his willingness to play defense--all of which have followed him into his 30s. He is also an excellent penalty killer. His best offensive trait is his skill as a playmaker, but he needs to shoot more to keep opponents from dropping off him. Is ideally a third-line pivot but can play higher up in the lineup.
Long Range Potential: Veteran two-way center.
