Scouting Report
The perpetually underrated goaltender (he ranked in the top 30 on the all-time shutouts list at the time of his retirement) read plays well. Was small by today's NHL goaltending standards, but was quick on his skates and could carry a team for brief stretches. Injuries always were a problem for him. While he finished his career as a solid backup, and occasionally played like a true No. 1 'keeper, his true value was as a quality 1-1A netminder in his prime.
Long Range Potential: Quality tandem goaltender.
