Waller's pectoral injury isn't expected to be season-ending, coach Mike McDaniel said Friday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The Dolphins placed Waller (pectoral) on IR on Wednesday.
Has truly rare athletic gifts for a receiver: tight end height and length, cornerback speed, smooth fluidity and good hands. He can beat defensive backs down the field for a big play and is also a very solid underneath target who uses the sidelines well. Can be slow out of his break off the snap and does not have a lot of deceptive moves to get separation. His fundamentals are not the greatest. Injuries have played a huge role throughout his NFL career, and ultimately caused him to retire prematurely.
Long Range Potential: Physically-gifted and talented tight end (when healthy).
