Bethel (knee) was not included among the Dolphins' inactive players ahead of Sunday's contest with the Chargers.
The Dolphins re-signed Bethel on Friday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Fantastically athletic: an explosive leaper with above-average speed, great instincts, and anticipation. Gets to the ball very quickly and either picks it off, breaks up the pass, or makes a good tackle. Provides major value on special teams (and is a regular threat to block punts). Possesses only average size for an NFL safety (although his great wingspan and big hands make up for it). Needs to keep working on the little things at his position to be an NFL regular on defense.
Long Range Potential: Ace special teamer / quality defensive back.
