Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Friday that Joseph (knee) is a possible injured reserve candidate, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Scouting Report
The ball-hawking safety is quick rather than fast, and needs to add strength, but he has an NFL-sized frame, closes quickly on underneath pass routes and is a thumping tackler. He can also be an effective blitzer. Plays with intensity and is an overachiever. Had a superb senior season of college football, but it was his only one as a starter; he has a lot to learn.
Long Range Potential: Raw playmaking safety.
