Melton (shoulder) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Commanders, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official website reports.
Melton (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Lions.
Though there is nothing outstanding about him physically, he owns excellent football intelligence. Can run good routes as a wide receiver by using leverage to create separation. However, he can also be knocked off course by physical press coverage, so he has to be more consistent from play to play. Returned kicks and was a gunner on special teams in college football, which adds to his value in the NFL.
Long Range Potential: Depth wide receiver and special teams ace.
