Young returned from a neck injury, played in his first game of the season and recorded 1.5 sacks and three tackles in Washington's 35-33 win over Denver on Sunday.
Young (neck) has been cleared to play Sunday against the Broncos, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
A massive physical specimen, he flies off the edge to disrupt the pocket and wreak havoc in the passing game. Too hot to handle one on one by most college tackles, he amassed a bevy of records and individual honors in a decorated career with a powerhouse program. Leverages extreme body lean, superb balance and violent hands to bend the corner and penetrate. Specializes in strip sacks and tackles for loss as a premier defensive playmaker. Can be attacked in the run game; he is still striving for every down consistency and better play recognition.
