Jefferson suffered a plantar fascia injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Jaguars.
Jefferson suffered a foot injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's contest with the Jaguars, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Highly productive as a tackler. Also gets more than his share of sacks. Solidly-sized overall for the pro game. Boasts good speed for a linebacker. Shows excellent functional strength for a pro linebacker. Pretty explosive overall in his movements. Isn't yet very productive as a pass defender (although he has the goods to improve in that area, and to keep improving in all areas of his game).
Long Range Potential: Linebacker with star tools.
