Saric recorded 14 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-4 3Pt) over 14 minutes during Friday's 124-123 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.
The Nuggets traded Saric in exchange for Jonas Valanciunas on Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Highly skilled, smart, and smooth. Has the height of a power forward and the skills of a guard. Capable of taking charge of the offense as both a scorer and distributor, and can score well in multiple ways (in transition, from the arc, and posting up). A good rebounder too. Instinctive overall, and moves well when away from the ball. Not explosive athletically or very long of limb, factors limiting him a bit defensively. Despite good fundamentals he can be mistake-prone (as both a passer and committing fouls). Needs to add more muscle mass to help him guard NBA forwards.
Long Range Potential: Skilled, versatile big man.
