Littell (0-1) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on six hits and two walks over five innings of relief as the Nationals were downed 3-2 by the Phillies. He struck out one.

Scouting Report

Displays excellent command of his arsenal, plus he owns an ideal pitchers' frame (6-4, 220 pounds). A student of the game, he is savvy on the mound and understands how to set up hitters. Lacks dominant stuff, even in the minor leagues, so he will always rely on his defense behind him to get the job done as a big-league starter. His control must always be pinpoint in nature.
