Zegras notched an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Flames.
Zegras (ankle) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup Tuesday against Seattle, per Alyson Lozoff of Bally Sports West.
If hockey were only about offense, he would already be among the NHL's elite. His offensive numbers are already solid and should continue to improve as he gets more acclimated to the NHL. He can score on his own or set up teammates in good spots. His off-the-puck play and ability to win face-offs are still works in progress, and he has to improve on those to earn the confidence of his coaches in crunch time. In terms of creativity, few can rival him.
