Knight was the first goaltender off the ice during morning skate, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports, indicating he will get the road start in Edmonton on Saturday.
Knight stopped 26 of 32 shots in Thursday's loss to the Jets.
The No. 13 pick in the 2019 NHL Draft was the first goaltender born in the 2000s to play in the NHL, and has all the tools to be one of the league's best. Has good size (6’3”) and will fill out as he moves toward the prime of his career. Relies on good positioning to make difficult saves look routine. Thinks the game well for a young netminder, though he has to learn not to overplay shots by being too quick when moving laterally.
Long Range Potential: Big, talented franchise goaltender.
