Farinacci agreed to terms on a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Bruins on Tuesday, according to Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal.
Farinacci was reassigned to AHL Providence on Wednesday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
He is an excellent passer who makes his linemates better, but he also owns a hard shot to score goals. Works his tail off in the corners to gain puck possession, and is also very strong along the wall. He wins a fair amount of board battles. While strong, he will need to fill out his frame. Lacks consistency and takes a few shifts off, so he will need to improve in these areas in order to maximize output in the NHL. Is still somewhat raw as an overall center.
Long Range Potential: Talented, all-around center with upside.
