A defenseman with excellent size and strength, he is most effective when he does not try to do too much. His offensive game is not flashy, but productive; he can get pucks to the net and has enough skill to receive time at the point on the power play. Defensively, he is more than willing to use his body and can skate well enough to carry the puck out of trouble.
Long Range Potential: Big, solid defenseman with some upside.
