Beecher was reassigned to AHL Providence on Tuesday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
Scouting Report
Has NHL size and strength. Plays well at both ends of the ice. Is adept at maintaining puck possession and winning board battles in the corners. Can really shoot the puck, and his hard shot gives him plenty of scoring chances. Moves well for a big man. His defensive awareness is advanced. Lacks elite puck skills. Is not a game-breaking forward, but rather a very dependable player that coaches love.
Long Range Potential: Big, two-way forward with some upside.
