Malott was called up from AHL Ontario on Wednesday, per John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.
Scouting Report
Has great size and plays with an abundance of physicality. Also, he skates well enough to hang with NHL fourth-line forwards. Lacks the hands to play higher up in the lineup, though. Also, he must play a disciplined style in order to stick at the highest level over the long run.
Long Range Potential: Rugged depth forward.
