Washington acquired Schueneman from St. Louis on Monday in exchange for Calle Rosen.
Scouting Report
An excellent skater, he moves well with or without the puck on his stick. A journeyman, he is at his best when he plays within his own limitations and does not try to do too much (especially with the puck). Can cough up the puck at times. Lacks high-end defensive chops for the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Depth defenseman.
