Lundkvist signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Stars on Monday.
Lundkvist (face) will be in the lineup Friday versus Pittsburgh, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.
The No. 28 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft came to North America after back-to-back seasons of double-digit goals in Sweden. He has excellent mobility, moves the puck well and can be a passer as well as a shooter. He definitely thinks offense first. Will need to get stronger as he matures and would benefit from a partner who can handle more of the physical role, freeing him to focus on joining the attack.
Long Range Potential: Talented, offensive-minded defenseman with upside.
