Is somewhat of a late-blooming talent--he led Finland in both assists and points at the 2020 WJC (this after being ignored in the two previous NHL drafts). The knock against him is his lack of size and strength, although he more than makes up for it with supreme playmaking skills. Also, he is versatile enough to line up at all three forward positions (which adds to his overall value). He is also a rare Finnish player with experience in parts of two seasons in the Liiga prior to being drafted into the NHL. Can he produce offense at the highest level? That will be his make-or-break calling card in the pros.
Long Range Potential:
Versatile, diminutive playmaker with upside.
