Damiani was placed on waivers Sunday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Texas.

The Stars signed Damiani to a one-year, two-way contract Friday.
Scouting Report
The smallish but talented forward has put up points at lower levels, was AHL rookie of the year in his first pro season and scored a goal in his NHL debut. He has the speed needed to blow past defenders and the work ethic needed to compensate for a lack of size, and he does a good job getting under the skin of opposing checkers.
Long Range Potential: Speedy, talented forward.
