McBain scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
McBain notched an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Has a very projectable frame, excellent hockey sense and sound two-way instincts for the center position. Shoots the puck with aplomb and also displays a great work ethic. Already displays leadership skills. Can be used in any game situation and is trustworthy. Will need to fill out his big frame in order to maximize his two-way ability for the National Hockey League. Also, he must start using his big frame more to his advantage (especially in terms of physical play) so as to keep professional opponents honest.
Long Range Potential: Quality, two-way center with upside.
