Andersson was assigned to AHL San Diego after completing his loan with Sodertalje SK in Sweden's second division, per CapFriendly.
The Bruins sent Andersson, David Backes and a first-round pick to the Ducks for Ondrej Kase on Friday.
Moves the puck well and displays good attacking instincts, as well. Is capable of putting up good numbers and can also quarterback the power play. Displays excellent mobility and hockey sense. Will need to add bulk and get a lot stronger in order to maximize output at the highest level. Has adjusted well to life in North America and the smaller rinks.
Long Range Potential: Mobile, puck-moving defenseman with upside.
