Scouting Report
The 2017 first-rounder may never live up to his NHL debut, when he had a hat trick and scored the shootout winner. Has plenty of speed but has trouble picking up the pace with the puck on his stick, meaning that he needs improvement at making plays while going at high speed. He has a good one-time release and positions himself well, but might be better off on the wing than in the middle.
Long Range Potential: Big, talented forward with consistency issues.
