Tolvanen was a healthy scratch for the fourth time in the past five games Saturday against the Canucks.
Tolvanen scored a goal on three shots, doled out two hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.
The shifty, elusive forward has great hands, excellent offensive instincts and a terrific wrist shot that should keep him in the NHL for years. He knows how to get into dangerous scoring areas and can play either wing position. Lacks ideal size for an NHL forward, does not have great top-end speed and occasionally plays too much on the periphery. However, he should be able to score enough to keep earning ice time.
Long Range Potential: Shifty winger with a big-time shot.
