Fox scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.
Fox (upper body) was activated from long-term injured reserve Wednesday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Needed little time to show that he belongs among the NHL's elite defensemen. Is a creative playmaker who skates well, can move the puck and run the power play. Has a knack for finding teammates with passes that put them in prime scoring position. His defensive-zone coverage continues to improve and he can play well over 20 minutes per game on a nightly basis, despite a lack of size.
