While he does not have the kind of optimal size teams look for in defensemen these days, his stable game makes up for any deficiencies, and he should fill out and get stronger as he approaches his prime. Moves the puck quickly and effectively, and he is a good character player. Has never produced big scoring numbers but can be effective with an offensive partner. Is also not immune to physicality.
