The Latvian forward can be dangerous with the puck on his stick. At his best, he is poised with the puck and utilizes his skills to either finish off plays or set up linemates. His playing time is increasing as his body and game mature and he moves into his prime. His biggest obstacle may be a lack of offensive consistency. Can be an asset on both special teams.
