Tarasov (upper body) won't be in the lineup Tuesday against the Hurricanes, per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.
Per Dave Maetzold of Bally Sports Columbus, Tarasov (upper body) is still undergoing testing Saturday, according to coach Pascal Vincent.
The young Russian goaltender excelled at numerous levels in his homeland before heading to North America. Has excellent sizebut needs to add a lot of strength to stand up to the physicality he will face in smaller NHL rinks. He has all the tools to succeed in the big league; the big question is how well and how soon he will adapt.
Long Range Potential: Promising goaltender with good upside.
