Never drafted at the NHL level, he captained his QMJHL team before embarking on his professional hockey career. A resilient defenseman with a strong lower base, he can put up numbers at lower levels but is more of a role player in the NHL. Displays plenty of physicality but must avoid taking bad penalties.
