Stenlund scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Stenlund (undisclosed) will be evaluated further after leaving Tuesday's practice early, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports.
Has tremendous size for the center position, plus a sound two-way mentality. Also handles the puck with aplomb and usually makes the right play at the right time. Is extremely low-maintenance. Uses his size well. Must improve his skating ability in order to thrive as a big, two-way force in the NHL. Also, the jury is still out on his long-range scoring upside (i.e. he may have to settle for a bottom-six forward role in the pros).
Long Range Potential: Big, two-way center with some upside.
