Head coach Jared Bednar said Wednesday that he hopes Kiviranta (lower body) will be able to return for Friday's game against the Flyers, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Scouting Report

The smallish Finnish forward was a great two-way winger in his home country but is still trying to find the key to scoring regularly at the NHL level. Plays well away from the puck and is almost always in the right position defensively. Lacks elite offensive instincts (despite being one of the few players in NHL history to have a hat trick and an overtime goal in Game 7 of a playoff series).
