Mangipane (upper body) will join the Hawks for their three-game road trip but won't be in the lineup against the Oilers on Thursday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Mangiapane (upper body) should be able to return to the lineup before the conclusion of the 2025-26 regular season, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Tuesday.

Scouting Report

The sixth-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft has turned into a legitimate threat to score whenever the puck is on his stick. He can contribute on both special teams and has both the knowledge of how to get open and the ability to finish chances. However, he is not much of a physical presence and has stretches when he does not seem to make much of an impact on the game.
