Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off Monday, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes at home versus the Flyers.
Vasilevskiy stopped 24 of 25 shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over Edmonton.
At 6'3" and 225 pounds, the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs covers a lot of net. Is a proven winner and a workhorse with strong legs (he goes side to side as well as anyone in the NHL). Can make spectacular saves look routine. He has a knack for coming up with big saves at the right time. Has been healthier as his career has advanced after some major injuries early on. He is one of the best netminders of his era.
