Scouting Report
The son of former NHL forward Stephane Matteau was a first-round pick in the 2012 NHL Draft but has bounced between the NHL and the American Hockey League for several years. He has the size and toughness to be an effective power forward, especially as a complement to more skilled linemates. Consistency eludes him.
