Gaunce was acquired by Columbus from Minnesota on Thursday in exchange for Cameron Butler.
Scouting Report
Has ideal size (6'2", 217 pounds) for the NHL game, as well as plenty of two-way acumen. His playmaking skills are also solid. Can line up at center or on the wing. Must continue to work on his skating, since he is not always as fluid as he should be. Must also learn how to become a more consistent performer as a pro.
Long Range Potential: Versatile two-way forward.
