Nurse recorded an assist, blocked four shots and served two PIM in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Nurse scored two goals on four shots on net while adding two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Capitals.
An interesting combination of skill and snarl, he can play huge minutes effectively on an every-game basis. He skates well, can generate plenty of offense and contribute on both special teams. He is also willing to bang bodies and get in front of shots, and will step up to defend his teammates if needed. Has to be careful not to take himself out of position when going for the big hit or jumping into the play.
Long Range Potential: All-around minute-munching defenseman.
