Francouz (groin) will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.
General manager Chris MacFarland said Francouz (groin) is out indefinitely in a press conference Wednesday, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports.
The Czech goaltender came to North America in his late 20s after successful seasons in his home country and the KHL, and wasted no time showing he could play in the big league. Catches with his right hand, an oddity that can have advantages against a lot of shooters. Has to show he can stay healthy over a long stretch of time (hip surgery cost him more than a full NHL season).
