Jones (hand) took part in Saturday's practice, Scott Malone of Root Sports reports.
Jones was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Kraken radio announcer Mike Benton reports, indicating he will start Saturday's home game against Chicago.
Covers a lot of the net simply by virtue of being 6'4", although he could help himself by adding more strength. Appeared destined to become an elite goaltender but his career went off the rails in his late 20s, so he has had to adjust to being a backup now that he is in his 30s. Still has the athleticism that made him one of the NHL's best earlier in his career.
Long Range Potential: Solid goaltender in decline.
