Stamkos scored a power-play goal in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Stamkos scored the game-winning goal, recorded a power-play assist, fired four shots on net and dished out three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over Minnesota.
Still skates very well in his 30s, has excellent hand/eye coordination and can score in a variety of ways. His one-timer from the circles, especially on the power play, is deadly. Both his playmaking and two-way game have evolved as he has matured. Plays with enough grit and aggression to keep opponents honest. His performance on face-offs has also improved over time. He is a captain, a leader and a Stanley Cup champion. Is still a shooter first and foremost but his passing skills and 200-foot game are solid and continue to improve. Injuries have been a big issue for him.
Long Range Potential: Elite sniper and captain (when healthy).
