Scouting Report
Skated well throughout his NHL career and had good scoring instincts, though he never lived up to his draft status (6th overall in 2006). A good playmaker, he did not always shoot the puck enough. He was fairly responsible defensively and could play either center or wing. Inconsistency was a problem throughout his NHL career. Developed leadership qualities as he matured as a player.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but versatile and talented forward.
